The Brickbottom Artists Buildings
Two buildings, painted cream color with aqua stripes, right beside the McGrath/O'Brien Highway in Somerville, across from Twin Cities Plaza. Visitor Parking is along Joy and Chestnut Street. Take note of the various signs for street cleaning Do not park in the resident's lot or alongside the building.

The Joy Street Studios
One building on Joy Street (86) with Washington Street and one end and Fitchburg Street and the Brickbottom Building at the other. The Joy Street Studios are 2 blocks directly behind the Herb Chambers dealership on McGrath/O'Brien Highway in Somerville. Visitor Parking is along Joy and Chestnut Street.

BY CAR
From Boston and South
I93 North take the SULLIVAN SQ. (RT-99) exit towards SOMERVILLE, exit #28. At the end of the ramp left on Washington Street past the Holiday Inn (on your left), under the RR underpass and take an immediate left on to Joy Street. Brickbottom is at the end of Joy/Chestnut Street, The Joy Sreet Studios are on your left.

From New Hampshire and North
I93 South take Somerville exit 30 (RT-38 S) to Route 28. Take a left at the light (Mystic Avenue). Stay in the right lane and turn on to the McGrath (Rte 28). Take the Somerville Avenue Exit after Washington Street. You'll come up to a set of lights. Notice the highway turns away from you, and there's another entry ramp going up on your left. Keep to the right of this ramp on the service road that goes between the ramp and the Auto Glass Co., Pat's Towing and Russell (garbage). This road takes you under the highway. At the stop sign, you'll see Brickbottom in front of you.

BY PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
By "T" Green Line to Lechmere - A 10 minute walk
From Lechmere Station, cross McGrath Highway and walk along it AWAY from Boston - to your left. Brickbottom is about 1/3 mi away. After passing a Shell Station on your right and MacDonalds on your left, continue up the hill. Be sure to be walking along the righthand side of the highway. At the top of the hill, you'll see the Brickbottom buildings on your right. Past the building are steep steps that will take you down to the street and Brickbottom.

By "T" Orange Line to Sullivan Square
At Sullivan Square transfer to a number 86, 91 or CT2 bus. Alight at the intersection of Washington and Joy Streets (approximately 2 miles from Sullivan Square). Walk down Joy St. to Joy Street Studios and to the end for Brickbottom.

By Bus Routes 80, 87, 88
Inbound - Alight at the intersection of McGrath Highway and Medford Street. A few yards beyond the bus stop is a crosswalk. Cross under McGrath Hwy to Poplar Street. Walk 2 blocks to the end of Poplar, turn right, and walk to the end of Joy/Chestnut St. right to Brickbottom and left to Joy Street Studios.

Outbound - From Lechmere Station. Alight at the intersection of Poplar and McGrath Hwy. Walk 2 blocks to the end of Poplar, turn right, and walk right to Brickbottom and left to Joy Street Studios.
